2012年美国锦标赛于5月8日～20日在美国的港口城市圣路易斯举行。男子组12位棋手进行11轮大循环比赛，女子组10位棋手进行9轮大循环比赛。男子组第9轮比赛结束，卡姆斯基积7分领先，中村光积6.5分列第2位；女子组第8轮比赛结束，Krush和Zatonskih同积6分领先。
